11-08-15 Get Rid of the Grey’s – Shame

Often we misplace guilt and shame causing a break in our relationship with one another and with God. Today Pastor Hayden discusses guilt and shame that we should embrace, guilt and shame we should reject, how to know the difference and what to do in either case. (1 Cor 6:1-5, 1 John 1:8-9)

10-11-15 To Protect and Serve

This week, the people of Central Christian Church take time to honor the Huntington County Law Enforcement Officers. God has appointed them to us for our good and Scripture declares them to be God’s ministers. This day we honor them for their service and challenge them as sheepdogs for the flock to continue to rely on the Good Shepherd when fulfilling their calling in society. (Hebrews 13:1-6)

8-23-15 When Too Much Is Too Much

With the advent of children returning to school after summer break, often we can become inundated with a variety of activities pulling us in many different directions. It is not hard to become overwhelmed with “much serving.” This week Pastor discusses the need to simplify our lives so that we do not let a good thing become a bad thing because it does not line up with God’s best thing. (Luke 10:38-42, Mark 4:4-19)

5-24-15 All God’s Promises

God’s promise are true despite what we may feel, see, or think. It does not mean that we check our brain at the door but still we are called by God to trust what His Word says to us over what the circumstances that we find ourselves in may convey. (2 Corinthians 1:18-20, Jeremiah 1:6-12)

4-12-15 The Abundant Christian Life: Knowing God

God desires that we live an abundant Christian life. Yet often, so many who have received Christ as their Savior seem to fall short of experiencing this “abundant life.” We need to know that some fail to experience God’s abundance due to knowing about God rather than knowing God. Unfortunately, some may be satisfied with religion that allows us to be respectful of God but works to keep God at a distance so that we never truly know Him for ourselves. (John 10:7-10, Phil 3:7-10)

3-29-15 Courageous Christianity: Taking Directions

If we follow God’s directions, we will receive what God promises and He will give us more. We need to continually seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, receiving revelation from Him and applying what His Word to how we live. If we do, as declared in the Bible, we will be blessed in our deeds. (Psalm 119:97-105, Matthew 6:33)

3-08-15 We Bear His Name

What a special privilege it is to be a messenger of the Most High God. Paul was converted and sent to bear the name of Jesus to the Gentiles as well as the Jews. We are also called to bear His name. The name of Jesus. (Acts 9:1-15, Colossians 3:12-17)

1-18-15 God Looks At The Heart

God does not look at outward appearances. He looks at the heart. Pastor shares from the life of David when the shepherd boy was chosen to be king of Israel giving us the example that God uses the most unlikely for His purpose. (1 Samuel 16)
